Overview

Myevrii is recruiting a Senior Chef de Partie for a full-time, permanent position based in Trim, Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career. In this role, you will take ownership of a designated kitchen section, maintain exceptional standards of food quality and presentation, and play an important part in supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

Working closely with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment. This role is ideal for a confident, organised chef who thrives under pressure and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent dishes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a designated section of the kitchen to the highest standard.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all dishes produced in your section.
  • Support, guide, and mentor junior chefs and commis staff to encourage development and teamwork.
  • Assist the Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, including service preparation and coordination.
  • Monitor stock levels, help reduce waste, and support ordering and stock rotation processes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, safety, and HACCP procedures at all times.
  • Step up and provide leadership in the absence of senior kitchen management when required.
  • Contribute to a positive, efficient, and professional kitchen culture.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Food safety certification and solid working knowledge of HACCP procedures.
  • Good understanding of stock control, waste reduction, and kitchen organisation.
  • Flexibility to support the team and step into senior responsibilities when needed.
