This Cookie Policy explains how TalentHunter Ltd ("TalentHunter", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.talenthunter.me, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites function, remember preferences, and measure usage. We also use similar technologies such as your browser's local storage, and we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

2. How we use cookies

We group the technologies we use into three categories:

• Strictly necessary. Required for the platform to work — for example keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice. We store these in your browser's local storage (for example your sign-in session and a cookie_consent preference). They load automatically and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics. Help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_KGXYTDQXLE.
• Marketing. Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies such as _fbp (and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad), and Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets cookies such as _gcl_au (and _gcl_aw when you arrive from a Google ad).

None of the analytics or marketing cookies load until you accept them in our cookie banner. Until then, only the strictly necessary technologies above are used.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage in your browser, which will bring the banner back on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the platform may not work as intended if strictly necessary technologies are blocked.

4. Third parties

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use, such as Google (Analytics, Ads, and Tag Manager) and Meta (Pixel). Where these load after you accept, those providers may process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content of third-party policies.

5. How long we keep cookies

Retention depends on the cookie. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Analytics and marketing cookies persist for a set period defined by the provider — for example the Google Analytics _ga cookies persist for up to two years by default, the Meta _fbp cookie for around 90 days, and the Google Ads _gcl_au cookie for around 90 days. The strictly necessary items we store in local storage remain until you sign out or clear your browser data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove a tool. Where changes are material we will post an updated version with a new last updated date.
