Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TalentHunter platform at www.talenthunter.me. The platform is operated by TalentHunter Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (company number 786317) ("TalentHunter", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. Submitting false CVs, misrepresenting your identity, or impersonating a company or individual is strictly prohibited.

2. Our service

TalentHunter is a smart job board that helps employers hire and helps candidates find roles, using AI assisted CV analysis and data driven matching. We connect employers and candidates. We are not the employer, we do not guarantee placements or hiring outcomes, and we are not a party to any employment relationship formed between users.

3. How we use AI, and your rights

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to assist human decision making, not to replace it.

  • Human oversight. A human recruiter reviews AI recommendations before any decision that affects a candidate. No candidate is rejected solely by automated processing.
  • You will know when it is AI. We tell you when you are interacting with an AI system, for example when AI is used to analyse your CV, and we label AI generated and AI assisted content.
  • Explanation. Where an AI assisted assessment significantly affects you, you can ask us for a clear and meaningful explanation of the main factors involved.
  • Human review and the right to contest. You can ask for a human to review any AI assisted assessment about you.
  • Fairness. We ignore protected characteristics such as gender, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability and sexual orientation, and we monitor our systems for bias.
  • Complaints. You can contact us at info@talenthunter.me. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie), and, in relation to the EU AI Act, to the relevant national competent authority or through the European Commission's AI Act complaint tool.
  • Our compliance approach. Our systems are designed to align with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and with the General Data Protection Regulation. Recruitment tools are treated as high risk under the AI Act, with those obligations applying from 2 December 2027. We are preparing for them now and already apply voluntary measures as a participant in the EU AI Pact.
4. Visa and permit sponsorship support (our partner Lewis Silkin)

Some roles on the platform offer visa and permit sponsorship support. This support is provided by our partner, a third party immigration services provider, Lewis Silkin Ireland LLP. TalentHunter acts only as an intermediary and introducer and does not provide immigration advice.

Where you accept an offer on a role that offers sponsorship support and you explicitly opt in, TalentHunter will share a defined and minimal set of your details with Lewis Silkin so that they can contact you and provide immigration services. We do not transmit special category data such as nationality or immigration status. Sharing happens only on your explicit opt in, your consent is recorded, and you can withdraw consent and request erasure at any time. After the introduction, the immigration relationship is directly between you, the employer, and Lewis Silkin.

5. For employers

You must comply with the Irish Employment Equality Acts and with pay transparency obligations under the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/970). You may use candidate data only for the specific role the candidate applied for. You may not sell, scrape, or otherwise reuse our candidate database, and you may not use the platform for any unlawful or discriminatory employment practice.

6. Acceptable use

You must not: publish false, misleading or fraudulent job postings or candidate information; use the platform for unlawful or discriminatory practices; scrape, harvest or collect user data without our explicit permission; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other accounts; or interfere with or disrupt the platform or its security.

7. Payments

Certain features require payment. All fees are shown before purchase and are non refundable unless stated otherwise or required by law. We may change pricing, and any change applies only to future purchases.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to the platform or to other users. On termination your right to use the platform ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Limitation of liability

TalentHunter connects employers and job seekers but is not responsible for the outcome of any hiring decision, employment relationship, or dispute between users, and does not guarantee placements or candidate quality. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Data protection and privacy

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and with the General Data Protection Regulation. You have rights including access and erasure. Please see the Privacy Policy for full detail, including the sponsorship data sharing described in section 4.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material we will give reasonable notice, for example by posting an updated version with a new last updated date and, where appropriate, notifying account holders.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
