Macholl Recruitment is looking for experienced and reliable Artic (CE) drivers for full-time work based in North Dublin, near the airport. This is a stable role with a mix of local Dublin city runs and longer-distance routes across Ireland.

🔹 What the Job Involves:

Start & finish same day – no overnight stays

Start times: Between 23:00 and 06:00 (rotating between night and early morning)

Weekly roster provided in advance, so you know your schedule ahead of time

Delivery types:

Local deliveries in Dublin city

Longer routes to Galway, Cork, Limerick, etc. (2–3 stops, then back to base)

Trailers: Box trailers – either tail-lift use or reversing to loading bays

Offloading: Pallet truck – no heavy lifting

Breaks: 30 minutes deducted each day – breaks must be properly managed

🕒 Important for Long-Distance Trips

We are on a schedule. Drivers must understand the Working Time Directive (WTD) and know how to manage driving time and breaks correctly — especially on long-distance routes.

💶 Pay & Benefits:

€21.00/hour (06:00–23:00) + €16.96 meal allowance/day

€23.97/hour (23:00–06:00)

€23.97/hour on Sundays (only when required)

Net pay: Between €850 – €1,100/week depending on your schedule

In this role you will lead a small team of data scientists building fraud detection and financial risk models that power real-time decisions for their partners (almost all of the top 15 banks, Fortune 100 companies and government entities).

You'll own the full model lifecycle (data acquisition, featurization, labeling, training, productionalization, and monitoring) while researching emerging fraud patterns and shaping new identity verification products.

This is a hands-on leadership role: mentor a small team of full-stack data scientists, write production code yourself, guide planning and resourcing with senior leadership, and present analyses that inform product, risk, and go-to-market decisions.

Requirements

  • 7–15 years in applied ML/data science, building production models in fintech, cybersecurity, or other high-stakes domains
  • 4+ years managing DS/ML teams at high-growth startups, with direct ownership of ML products core to the business
  • Track record scaling a suite of models (not just one), ideally in a senior/leadership role at a startup (20–500 people)
  • Strong Python and end-to-end ML skills; domain experience in fraud, identity, or financial risk
  • Master's or PhD in a STEM field preferred
