Overview

Real People Recruitment is partnering with an international quality-focused company to hire a Customer Service Agent for its busy call centre in Citywest, Dublin 24. This is a full onsite role, located approximately a 10-minute walk from the Luas stop, and offers a supportive environment where you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer experiences.

This role is a 2 month temporary role to begin with, it may lead to longer.


In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping with queries, follow-ups, and bookings made through an online booking system. You will handle customer interactions with empathy and professionalism, ensuring each issue is resolved efficiently or escalated to the appropriate internal team when needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of support for customers by responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and attention to detail.
  • Assist customers with service and product questions, helping them navigate issues and next steps.
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and determine when escalation to internal teams is required.
  • Proactively follow up with customers who may be unsure of next steps to help move their case forward.
  • Manage bookings and customer interactions through an online booking system.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, updates, and resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using online systems and basic software applications.
  • Ability to manage customer queries professionally, calmly, and empathetically.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to determine when to escalate issues.
  • A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help people and see issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to work a rostered schedule between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 to 18:00 on Fridays.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work onsite in Citywest, Dublin 24.
