Counterbalance Forklift operator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator / Reach Truck Operator to join a busy and well-established logistics operation in North West Business Park, Dublin 15. This is a permanent, full-time role offered directly by the company, providing a stable long-term opportunity for a reliable warehouse professional who takes pride in safe, accurate, and efficient work.

In this role, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations by operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts, handling inbound and outbound goods, and helping maintain a smooth and organised flow of stock through the facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and health and safety standards.
• Load, unload, move, and stack palletised goods within the warehouse and loading areas.
• Pick, check, and prepare orders accurately to support dispatch and stock replenishment.
• Receive incoming deliveries and verify goods against delivery documentation.
• Carry out stock movement tasks using warehouse systems and handheld scanners where required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual handling and stock rotation.
• Report equipment faults, stock discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.

• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Valid forklift licence/certification for Reach and Counterbalance equipment.
