Financial Accountant

Sanderson is partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant based in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant, ideally trained in a Big 4 firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
• Support the local team with financial management activities
• Assist with bill production, ensuring compliance with local legal and tax requirements
• Analyse credit notes and prepare root cause analysis
• Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded
• Support the production of local management accounts in collaboration with the local finance team
• Assist with the preparation of the annual group consolidation pack

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, ideally trained in a Big 4 firm
• Experience in a professional services environment is an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills, particularly in dashboard creation
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
