Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Chef de Partie to join a busy catering team on a temporary, week-to-week basis in Crumlin, Dublin 12. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in producing high-quality food, and can contribute consistently to hot kitchen preparation and service support.

As part of the kitchen team, you will play an important role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations, supporting food preparation, and ensuring standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency are met at all times. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is dependable, organised, and comfortable working under pressure.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist with hot kitchen production for catering and service requirements.
  • Support the kitchen team with essential prep work, including ingredient preparation, portioning, and basic cooking tasks.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Work efficiently to meet service deadlines in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
  • Keep workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Assist senior chefs and kitchen leadership as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Monitor ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns promptly.

  • Valid right to work in Ireland.
