Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our growing team in Ireland. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will be a qualified tradesperson with strong technical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from routine maintenance and planned installations to urgent fault-finding and emergency repair work. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craft, works safely and efficiently, and can represent the company professionally on every job.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sanitation, and heating systems.
  • Diagnose plumbing faults, leaks, blockages, and system failures, and carry out effective repairs.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, technical specifications, and job instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance inspections and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
  • Work on pipework, fixtures, fittings, valves, pumps, and related plumbing components.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, site managers, and colleagues regarding work progress and findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  • Support the wider team with additional plumbing and maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified plumber with a relevant certification, apprenticeship, or trade qualification.
  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance work.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
  • Good knowledge of water systems, drainage systems, heating systems, and general plumbing fixtures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of current health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full clean driving licence preferred.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in varied environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
