Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Operative to support paint blending and production operations in Drimnagh, Dublin. In this hands-on role, you will mix and blend paint formulations to precise specifications, monitor batch quality and consistency, maintain accurate production records, and ensure blending equipment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality and consistency are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Mix and blend paint formulations according to established recipes, batch sheets, and production specifications.
  • Measure raw materials accurately to ensure consistency, colour accuracy, and product quality.
  • Monitor batches throughout the production process and report any deviations or quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of recipes, batch numbers, production runs, and material usage.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of blending equipment, containers, and work areas.
  • Follow health, safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet output targets and customer requirements.
  • Support general operational tasks as required to keep the production area running efficiently.

  • Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working in a production environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with paint blending, chemical handling, or quality-controlled production processes is an advantage.
