Job Description:

Overview

Vitality Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist – Neuro to join its specialist team in Dublin. This role is focused on supporting individuals with neurological diagnoses through a whole-body, exercise-based approach that extends beyond hospital discharge and outpatient therapy. Working within a unique continuum of care, you will help clients rebuild function, confidence, and independence through evidence-based, person-centred rehabilitation.

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and design tailored recovery programmes that reflect individual goals, needs, and progress. You will work with people recovering from spinal cord injuries, stroke, and other neurological conditions, combining clinical expertise with compassion, creativity, and a commitment to empowering each person in their recovery journey.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation programmes aligned with personal goals and clinical findings.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure ongoing improvement and appropriate challenge.
  • Deliver evidence-based neurological physiotherapy interventions, including balance training, neuroplasticity-focused rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and functional mobility training.
  • Lead small-group exercise classes that support strength, coordination, confidence, and functional outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient experience throughout the client journey.
  • Manage a varied caseload efficiently while prioritising quality of care and timely progression.
  • Participate actively in continuing professional development (CPD), clinical supervision, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement projects, and the implementation of best-practice guidelines.
  • Work in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, multidisciplinary, community-focused environment.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Join a specialist neuro rehabilitation service that focuses on the whole person, not just the symptoms of injury.
  • Be part of a progressive model of care that combines kinesiology, activity-based therapy (ABT), and movement-based recovery principles.
  • Help clients transition from acute and outpatient services into long-term rehabilitation and wellness.
  • Have the opportunity to shape service quality and contribute to innovative best practice in neurological rehab.
  • Work in an environment that values empowerment, evidence-based practice, and meaningful client outcomes.
