Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chemical Plant Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Finglas. In this role, you will work in a production environment handling chemicals, preparing customer orders, and supporting the manufacture of high-quality products. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting, and committed to maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Operate plant machinery and production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Handle, measure, mix, and transfer chemicals safely and accurately.
  • Prepare orders and materials for production and dispatch.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required specifications.
  • Carry out basic quality checks and report any defects, spills, or equipment issues.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times, including the use of PPE.
  • Maintain accurate production, batch, and inventory records as required.
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with site standards.
