Qualified Kitchen Fitter

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Qualified Kitchen Fitter to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with a strong background in fitting bespoke kitchens and custom furniture to a high standard of finish. You will work on residential and commercial projects, delivering precise installation work, excellent craftsmanship, and a professional customer experience from start to completion.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience fitting bespoke fitted kitchens and furniture, with the ability to interpret plans, solve on-site challenges, and ensure every installation meets exacting quality standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install bespoke fitted kitchens, cabinetry, and custom furniture to detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and installation plans.
• Carry out accurate site measurements and make adjustments as needed for a perfect fit.
• Assemble, position, level, secure, and finish kitchen units and furniture components.
• Fit worktops, sinks, appliances, splashbacks, and associated fixtures and fittings.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely, neatly, and to a high-quality finish.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Identify and resolve fitting issues efficiently while maintaining workmanship standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures and comply with site requirements at all times.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a kitchen fitter, with a strong focus on bespoke fitted kitchens and furniture.
• Demonstrable experience in high-quality installation work, including cabinetry, worktops, appliances, and finishing details.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings, plans, and measurements accurately.
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to carry out precise site measurements and make adjustments on-site where required.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices in construction and installation environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Full right to work in Ireland and the ability to travel to project sites in and around Dublin.
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry, joinery, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Full driving licence preferred.
