Job Description:

Overview

Join a seasonal hospitality program in the United States through the H-2B visa pathway and gain hands-on international experience in golf and country club settings across Florida. This opportunity is designed for European hospitality professionals, students, and recent graduates who want to spend a full season working in the USA, earning competitive hourly pay, and building a stronger career foundation in premium guest service environments.

We are hiring for multiple front-of-house and back-of-house roles, including Bartender / Mixologist, Server / Waiter / Waitress / Food Runner / Assistant Server, Sous Chef / Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie / Commis Chef / Line Cook, Host / Hostess, and Golf, Fitness, and Racquet Attendants. You do not need experience in every role listed; applicants are encouraged to apply based on their strongest hospitality background and interests.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver polished, friendly, and efficient guest service in a high-standard hospitality environment.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, cocktails, and wines to club standards as a bartender or mixologist.
  • Take food and beverage orders, serve guests, run food, and support seamless dining room operations.
  • Greet and seat guests, manage arrivals, and support host stand and guest relations duties.
  • Assist with kitchen operations, including prep work, station setup, cooking, plating, and service execution.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Use POS systems accurately and handle transactions in a professional manner.
  • Support team members during busy service periods and contribute to a positive guest experience.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures at all times.
  • Represent the venue with professionalism, teamwork, and a genuine service mindset.

What Makes This Role Unique

This is more than a seasonal job, it is a structured opportunity to live and work in the USA while gaining international hospitality experience in a premium club environment. The program includes guidance throughout the process, from application to departure and return home, making it a strong fit for candidates who want a supported, honest pathway into overseas work.

Successful candidates may gain exposure to fine dining service, beverage programs, club operations, and high-volume guest service, all while earning competitive pay and overtime opportunities. For strong performers, this season can also open doors to future hospitality opportunities and career growth.

Be Connect provides transparent support throughout the process. Completing the assessment does not guarantee placement, but it does ensure that each applicant is matched thoughtfully based on skills, availability, and live employer needs.

Requirements:

  • European passport and current residence in Ireland or the UK.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Recent experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, customer service, or kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work in one or more of the following areas: bartending, serving, hosting, food running, kitchen prep, line cooking, or club attendant duties.
  • Genuine interest in guest service and the ability to work well in a team-based environment.
  • Availability for interviews during July and August.
  • Availability to work the full season, approximately October through the end of May.
  • Willingness to depart from Dublin or London as required by the program.
  • Ability to obtain a clean police certificate and complete a drug screening if hired.
  • Comfortable with shared accommodation arrangements.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy service periods.
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Benefits:

  • H-2B visa sponsorship provided.
  • Round-trip flights to and from the USA included.
  • Health insurance provided for the season.
  • Competitive pay of $14 to $18 per hour, depending on role.
  • Overtime opportunities available.
  • Accommodation support, with transport to and from work available as an optional benefit.
  • Real international experience in premium golf and country club environments.
  • Career development opportunities for strong performers.
