Bartender/Mixologist

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Mixologist to join prestigious private member country clubs across the USA. This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about classic cocktail craftsmanship, polished service, and creating memorable guest experiences in an upscale club environment.

As a bartender/mixologist, you will prepare and serve classic cocktails, deliver attentive wine and beverage service, and contribute to a warm, refined atmosphere for members and guests. You will work closely with a professional hospitality team and be expected to uphold high standards of presentation, service, and teamwork.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Craft and serve classic cocktails including Old-Fashioned, Manhattan, Whisky Sour, and Tom Collins with consistency and precision.
• Provide knowledgeable wine service, including basic grape varietal awareness and appropriate beverage recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-end private club setting, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout service.
• Support team members by collaborating with servers, supervisors, and other bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow club standards for beverage presentation, hygiene, responsible alcohol service, and guest interaction.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory support, and general bar preparation as needed.

• Recent or current experience working as a bartender or mixologist in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and the ability to prepare them consistently and professionally.
• Basic to strong understanding of wine service, including common grape varietals and beverage pairing awareness.
• Excellent customer service skills with a polished, professional, and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
• Availability for interviews in July or August.
• Availability to depart for the USA in October and remain until at least the end of May.
• Ability to obtain a clean police certificate if successfully hired.
• Ability to pass a drug screening if successfully hired.
• Willingness to live and work in the USA for an 8-month to 3-year period, depending on assignment and opportunity.
