Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join a busy hospitality operation in Dublin City Centre (Dublin 2). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food. In this role, you will help prepare and execute menu items to a high standard, support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations, and ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently met. This position is well suited to someone who is organised, reliable, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes in line with established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including prep work, stock rotation, and service readiness.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP and kitchen procedures.
  • Monitor food quality throughout service and ensure consistency across all orders.
  • Assist with inventory checks, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service.
  • Contribute to menu execution and, where appropriate, suggest improvements to dishes and processes.
  • Help reduce waste by managing ingredients carefully and following portioning guidelines.

  • Right to work in Ireland.
  • Formal culinary training or a relevant hospitality qualification is an advantage.
